Our Commitment

In addition to developing investigational therapies for people with rare hematologic diseases and cancers, Forma supports the work being done in the larger community. Offering funding opportunities is part of our commitment to building the future we want to see -- one where everyone has access to inclusive, empathetic and transformative care.

Grants

An unsolicited request for funding from an independent third party for a specified purpose to support education, patient advocacy, and community activities intended to benefit the public and improve patient care.

Sponsorships

Financial support for third-party conferences, meetings, programs and events in exchange for a legitimate, business-oriented benefit to Forma.

Charitable
Donations

Funding, goods (e.g., scientific materials, computers, tablets, scientific or laboratory equipment, etc.) or services provided by Forma to an eligible organization (in the U.S., a 501(c)(3) organization) for philanthropic purposes such as social programs, education or community awareness.

Grants:

This form of funding supports educational and patient advocacy activities and community activities intended to benefit the public and improve patient care. For example:

  • Projects targeted to specifically meet the unique or special needs of patient advocacy communities
  • Education to, and tools for, patients, families, caregivers and the public
  • Independent and accredited continuing medical education (CME) programs and initiatives for healthcare professionals
  • Educational grant funding for fellowships and scholarships
  • Independent research initiatives intended to address an unmet scientific or medical need

 

 

Sponsorships:

A sponsorship is financial support for third-party conferences, meetings, programs and events in exchange for a legitimate, business-oriented benefit to Forma. Examples of sponsorships include:

  • Corporate memberships to or tiered support (gold, silver, bronze, etc.) of an industry conference
  • Exhibit booths
  • Funding to support medical, patient or professional organizations/associations, advocacy groups and medical society meetings

 

Charitable Donations:

A donation is the provision of funding, goods (e.g., scientific materials, computers, tablets, scientific or laboratory equipment, etc.) or services to eligible organizations for philanthropic purposes, such as social programs, education or community awareness. Examples of charitable donations include:

  • Funding provided for improvement of, or access to, healthcare, patient care or advocacy activities, civic projects, disaster relief, or programs for children
